2012, Entheogens, and the End of the World

2012, Entheogens, and the End of the World by www.NeuroSoup.com The 2012 phenomenon is a range of beliefs that cataclysmic or transformative events will occur in the year 2012. This is based on what is claimed to be the end-date of the Mayan Long Count calendar, which is presented as lasting 5125 years and as terminating on December 21, 2012.

  1. i wish she would have looked for answers to 2012 while on an intense acid trip or shrooms.

  2. People shouldn’t fear 2012, they should anticipate it. It’s a mark for evolution in the human race.

  3. I agree. Like Dr. Dennis Mckenna said “2012 is an excuse for not taking responsibility for yourself…. we want salvation to come from outside, some cosmic force to intervene in history to save us from ourselves, i think the whole 2012 meme is unhealthy, it provides a setting for people to not take responsibility, and hope that after 2012 everything will be all good….”

I can see your POV! I would also add that it could be a change in our Male dominated society. Im a guy and i get pissed off when i see situations that seem to only have a “fight” or “war” as the only solution. I guess that would go along with your “warrior archetype”. In ancient civilizations, women were sometimes the rulers, I am ready for that change. I do not see and end of the world, i see the possibility of a change in consciousness.

  12. I’d have to agree with Lunchbox7000-
aggressive stimulus = aggressive subconsciousness (If, we can agree the subconscious IS freed during a trip)
and how one reacts to the stimulus might radically alter how one ‘s trip evolves…
Thanks KC for your provocative forum !

    WE ARE ON A SCHEDULE!
    and it is beautiful
    and it is love
    and it is eternal

We invite you to explore Ian Xel Lungold and Dr. Carl Johan Calleman’s findings on the evolution of Consciousness and how it aligns with:

    - Earth’s biological evolution
    - Epics of time for Human cultural history (and future)
    - Acceleration
    - One of the Mayan calendars!

Rest assured, when 2013 rolls around, the 2012 folks will say, “Oops! We miscalculated, the REAL date for the end of the world is 2025…my book about it is being printed as we speak.” Remember Y2K? And apparently there was another one in 2003. They swept that one under the rug pretty effectively.

  17. I agree, the world is not about to end in 2012 . I think these trips RE the world ending are about psychological changes. Men (and particularly white men in our society) may feel that their “world” is threatened because there is so much social change indicating that the world of white male dominance is ending (or has already ended). If one has such a realization then the only healthy way to deal with it is to undergo a dramatic change in one’s worldview.

  18. I’m not worried about the idea that the world might end in 2012. Rather, I’m hopeful about the prospect of all of us creating a radically new world. That would necessarily involve the transformation (and eith it, the destruction) of our current world.

    So true man …

  20. Hi. I like your videos. There’s still a question in the air , what do you think the end of the Mayan Calendar means? Do you have a glipmse on it?
Thanks for all the information. Long live to entheogens!!

  21. 2012 was professed by a female oracle in Rome or Greece. I believe this trusted oracle was also known to be intoxicated on the hallucinogenic properties of magma vents under the facility this oracle inhabited.

  22. i like where you are going with this theroy. this world and where you are mentally placed directly reflects your experience on any drugs. men are more likely to think about violent sineros/ play violent video games , be into violent movies. all of these violent images are stored in your mind more exposure the more likely you will depict them in a trip. put the controlers down boys! at least for brakes. fallout 3 makes it hard i understand ( ;

  23. The Kindom of Heaven is at hand. The interconnectedness/interrelatedness of all beings is the kinship, the ecology of souls. The Dali Lama says “my religion (that which reconnects) is kindness”. Kindness means we know we are of one kind, we are kin. As A Course in Miracles states, “A universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is not only possible but necessary.” And the Tibetan Book of the Dead (and ABOTD and the Psychedelic Experience) remind one to Be without fear…

  24. (currents, tides, waves…). Imagine what it would be like if one only knew the river and its banks, then eventual meeting up with the sea. The world as one once knew it would end. Just as the world of the womb ends when one is born, a new and wondrous world begins.
Fortunate are those that can go to that Golden Womb/Hiranyagarbha, the Pregnant Emptiness/Śūnyatā, that which is closer than hands or feet and nearer than the breath. Knowing they are never apart from it here and now.

  25. You haven’t done Salvia divinorum yet have you? You’re right though, there no need to worry.
Imagine the world as we know it being like an experience in a river (river of time) flowing to the sea (ocean of Eternity). The essence of the river (water and flow) doesn’t change when it meets the sea. There is great change at the Delta (which means change, or Daleth, which mean door). There is still water and flow, but in the sea/oceaan there is vastness and multidimension flow of water.
