Nostradamus said nothing of the sort. Nothing to prepare for.

I won’t.

It’s not from Nostradamus. It’s because the Mayan calendar “stops” on December 21, 2012. It means nothing. The Mayans believed time was cyclical. Their calendar doesn’t stop on that date, it just starts over. People are sensationalizing this for a story.

Avoid tv shows, newspaper articles and books on the subject. The overexposure and general noise level will damage your brain.

It wasn’t according to Nostradamus until after the stupid documentary on the History channel. According to Nostradamus, we were supposed to have had WWIII in the 1990′s. Full nuclear holocaust. Destruction of society as we know it. Global devastation. Apocalypse by 2000. Didn’t happen. Duh.
How will I prepare? If I live that long, I will give $1000, cash on the spot, to anybody who believes this garbage, in return for their house. Transfer of ownership will be effective one month (I won’t crowd them) after they say the world will end. Would you like to take me up on that deal? You would certainly be able to put that $1000 to good use in the little time that remains, so it sounds like a good deal to me.
Edit: For any of you who think I might actually run such poor dumb people out of their home, I absolutely would not. I would charge them a very modest rent, at least until I sold the house, and then it would be somebody else’s decision.

I believe that my end will still be intact in 2012 so there’s nothing to prepare for.

December 21, 2012?
Well, that sucks.
I went to a fortune teller, and she told me that I would find true love on December 22, 2012.

Nostradamus’ predictions are pure hogwash, and have no scientific validity. Nothing out of the ordinary is predicted to happen in 2012.

That’s a lie. Nostradamus’ “predictions” (aside from the fact that they are pure crap, and not actual predictions) go much further into the future. When people talk about Nostradamus’ “predictions”, they only mention the stuff that they assume applies to famous events of the past as well as to the current era. But Nostradamus’ “predictions” go well into the future. According to a book I read about Nostradamus’ “predictions”, the world will end sometime in the year 3,000-something.
Just check out any book that contains Nostradamus’ ENTIRE “predictions”. It’s pure crap.
