Critically examining the "End of the World"
Can someone please help on on the 2012 theory as I am scared constantly?

Question:
I’ve been doing some research lately and their are so many different theories/predictions about that year that is making me live scared. I can’t seem to concentrate on school or my fiancee. what do you think about this stuff and I’m going to a well known pyschic tomorrow, do you think she will know anything when I ask her?

There have been so many theories about the apocolypse that I just ignore them now. They said the world would end in 2000 that didn’t happen, in 2008 and that didn’t happen. Stop stressing.

Good , your going to a counselor. She/he will guide you. The 2012 Story is not known. We really don’t know what will happen, even tommorrow. As long as you have a Fiancee, concentrate on her. If you are continually obsessed, with this un-proven prediction, you could even loose her. Stop worrying about the un-known. In the Holy Bible it says: We never know what hour He cometh. Only God knows that. It is a sin to worry so much.

There have always been people predicting when the world will end . The only one who knows for sure is the keeper of the plug and he isn’t gonna tell us . Don’t stress over it . There are a lot of people everyday who have come to the end of their world , it happens . Nothing to stress over what will be will be and you nor any human can stop it .

Ok you seek the truth? Here goes but I warn you – It’s not pretty
A giant space turd has been discovered by NASA telescopes and it’s heading straight for earth.
Upon impact The seas will turn into diarrhea and a giant stinking tsunami will destroy much of Europe, Africa and America.
Once the diarrhea receads we will all have endure the worst stench imaginable.
Most of us would have died from the stink but those of us luckily enough to survive will then have to endure the toxic gases which will fill the skies.
If anyone is able to survive this then may god be with you.
I hope you can cope with this inconvenient truth I have opened your eyes to.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Also, your “research” should have shown that the Mayan calender ends on December 21, 2012. That’s it. Just like when our calender ends on December 31 every year. I think you should not waste money on a psychic, and stop being so paranoid.
2012= Any other year, except for another presidential election and another Olympics.

First of all that is really something dumb to be afraid of it’s like saying that the sun will explode when you kiss your fiancee! the theory on 2012 is just what it is a THEORY don’t believe it go on with your life if the world didn’t end in 2000 it’s not gonna end tomorrow

Winter solstice 2012 is just the revealing of the ‘antichrist’ or the ‘man of perdition’ at the mid-point of what Christians call the 7 year Tribulation (just subtract 1260 days to get the start and add 1260 days to get the end). I’m a young teen Agee and I did some research and the world will not end in 2010. The mayans just stopes making a calendar on the day cause you know people get tired of making calendars. But some time in the future the world will end but it will be billions of years so think if it is true god will stop it

Hi there, First of all, do not waste seeing a pyschic on this topic. The World has seen many of these “End of the World”. The Christians have been waiting for 2000 years for the end of the world, they’ve told everyone “It’s this date/year”, when that date passes, they say… “Oh, well we made a mistake and its this day”. We as humans are continually questioning our survival, and anything theory or prediction that states otherwise send us into a panic. And seemingly enough, one thing humanity is good at is panicking as a whole
You need to live your life without fear of death, because if you don’t live without the fear of death, you can not truly live life; as you may have already noticed. Besides, if there is going to be a catastrophe in the future, what is worrying about it now, even though we have no idea when it will be, what are we going to do about it?
In conclusion, think of it this way, worrying about the end of the world, is like worrying about when and where and how and what you could have done to prevent your death in the future. Morbidly as it seems, we all must die, every second that passes is a second closer to death, and it’s also a second you’ve wasted thinking about death. So live your life, every second and every breath you have. I’m sure your fiancee misses you.
