Year 2012: End of the World

ok, so I was procrastinating and found the whole 2012 thing to be an interesting way to waste my time…it’s interesting but very confusing.

I am very open minded and acknowledge that grand apocalyptic events are part of reality since they have happened before in the past (i.e. demise of dinosaurs, etc)

however, is this all just a big hype or something to really worry about?

Yes, there is supposed to be a solar polar shift and all this other crap….these conspiracy theories do refer to scientific truths but are they just taking these truths and misconstruing them to amount to something they’re not?

I don’t want to be an idiot and just take what people say as true or, on the contrary, just dismiss something because it sounds too “Hollywood.”

ok i just heard about this end of the world crap!! but reading about it all over the internet they say there suppost to be a polar shift……. and the planets are suppost to aline and can be catostrophic?? is that true and is there any science behind the fact 2012 is in for catastrophe?? lol

I went to NASA’s website and it said that the earth was way overdue for a polar shift, it said nothing about it taking millions of years to complete. I guess every 11 years the sun does a polar shift. And according to other sites, 2012 is the year that it will happen on earth. I’m really scared that we are all going to die in 2012. With all the predictions, ancient prophecies, and astronomical things that will be happening. Can somebody please shed some light on the subject. I have seen many links about 2012 happening, but nothing about it not happening. It seems like NASA even thinks its going to be a very scary year and years leading up to it. What can I do to save my family?
