A calendar is a calendar. You dont expect the world to end after December 21st, do you? A calendar marks our year, how long it takes to get around the sun. Mayan Calendar isnt predicting the end of the world, its predicting the end of a greater gallactic cycle. What that means for us is yet to be understood. It could merely be that the Mayan cycle refers to the sun completing an orbit around something else, at the end of which might be some form of solar alignment. End of the wold my hairy arse

I have noticed the same thing in the last 3 to 4 weeks there are no chemtrails anymore. I think this has something to do with the sun. I think there is going to be some real bad solar storms and they have been using chemtrails to block out the suns rays. But now there is just over one year remaining before they all go into the underground bunkers they are not to worried they will be saved and we will be left up here to fry.

I know I’m jumping in on this conversation late, but it looks interesting and I’m hoping it hasn’t died off. I am a Wiccan Gnostic, have been for the last four years. Prior to that I was a devout Baptist missionary and was studying to be a preacher so I’m familiar with Revelation and end time eschatology. My personal viewpoint on 2012 is a mixture of various beliefs, mostly Native American and ancient European. Many Native American tribes believe that there have been other worlds or ages before this one. The Hopi believe this to be the fourth age and will end with the coming of Pahana, or the True White Brother. This is similiar to many of the Mayan and Aztec beliefs about the return of the Feathered Serpent Diety (I shall not try to pronounce his name as I often jumble it). Vikings believed in a tumultuous time called Ragnarok in which many of the old gods would die and many new gods would come into existence. The same is true with many other beliefs to numerous to mention in a brief post. My own belief is that 2012 will be a time of upheaval followed by a time of enlightenment. Already we can see the evidence of this shift, weather patterns that have never been seen in recent times, the grasping of world powers and religions to maintain control, and the majority of people who are either waiting in anticipation or have simply given up (Hopi beliefs prophecy that at the end of the age, there will be men born without souls, shiftless creatures who bear the appearance of man, but have none of his virtue).

As for how this all comes about, my money is on a world wide pandemic, much like the Black Plague’s of antiquity. The reasoning for this is due to our treatment of the Mother Earth and our increasing reliance upon “Modern Medicine”, which has been tainted by numerous unethical practices. For example, our modern medical practices can trace their origins to the Catholic Church; following their eradication of Herbal healers and witches, they sought to replace the void and so began their own medical practice which was based on the belief that man and the earth are evil. This is contrary to the Elder Ways of healing which decree that man is divine and so is the earth. Modern medicine has also benefited from the research of the Nazi death camps, the Tuskegee experiments and other notorious activities to numerous to mention. All in all, I think we’re in for a rough ride, but those who stay true to the Elder Ways, regardless of what name they call them or what faith they practice shall endure as they have always done.
