Critically examining the "End of the World"
Did micheal Nostradamus really predict the “end” of the world in 2012?
The following is a question being asked on Yahoo Answers. Both the questions and answers given do not reflect the view of our website.
Question:
Some of the stuff is true but im starting to think the stuff bout 2012 is a load of bullshit made up by people with no lives.
I should add a lot of the info was from the history channel if that makes a difference

I don’t think his first name was Michael. Is that his less talented brother? Like Sylvester and Frank Stallone?

I watched it too, and I’m not sure what to think of all that, for the most part his predictions have been pretty accurate or very close.
It’s kinda scary, but is that what the Government wants? For us Americans to be scared. You would think if this was all true the government would want to hide it from us right? I’m not sure what to think, should I be worried or are they makin a big deal out of nothing kinda like the Y2K. I try not think of it, I live each day like it is my last

He mentioned nothing about the year 2012

In short, no he didn’t. I researched Nostradamus many years prior to this BS going around about 2012. Never once, was that date mentioned or alluded to.
Also, out of the thousands of predictions he made through the use of nutmeg to induce hallucinations and trance-like states, only a handful could be said to have ‘come true’ and these were ambiguous at best.
Although well known, he wasn’t the best at predicting things I’m afraid.
Please do not assume everything off TV is factual. Even legitimate programs have researchers who either err in some way or fail to fully research what they’re supposed to!
The best way is to always do the research work yourself when it comes to finding the truth in anything.

We won’t know until 2013.

No. Nostradamus predictions were much too vague. Anyone can twist his predictions to fit what they want.
No one predicted the end of the world. No One.

The Mayans are the authors of the 2012 doomsday theory, not Michel de Nostredame.
