Yes, many people do, but their delusion prevents them from applying critical thinking skills.

Of course there are people who believe the 2012 theories. I say it’s balderdash. Nonsense.

Given this question is asked at least once a day, perhaps a search on previous answers would be an excellent first step.

The end has been predicted so many times…and each time leaves me disappointed. Heh.
Let’s just say I’m not going to run up all my credit cards in December of 2012.

Last Thursday i watched “Deep impact”!! Morgan Freeman was presdient.
I really don’t care, but i always think everything can happen.
I have a friend who told me back in 1998 that someone say many centuries ago that something BIG will happen in NYC in the end of 20th century, he says maybe all NY will burn! i didn’t take it seriously, and in the begining of the 21st century, something BIG happened. I don’t know if it was my friend was talking about, but now, i say everything can happen. I Just keep doing what i’m supposed to do, and keep faith in God and in Future.

Some people believe the world will end in 2012, but I don’t. It’s not the end of the world.
Here are my predictions for 2012:
The news media will report irrelevant details of celebrities’ lives when they take a break from covering the US elections that year.
Jaguars will not fall from the sky.
There will be very nice meteor showers in November and December, and Venus will transit the sun on June 6th.
The Mayan calendar will restart, and only those who follow insane 2012 theories will notice.
You may be interested in previous predictions of the end of the world. Many, many people have predicted the date of end of the world. Many of the predicted dates have already past, so I see no reason to think that anyone knows the true date of the end of the world. Look at the link below, it has dozens of failed predictions about the end of the world.
