So, what do you think it’s gonna happen in 2012?

Some people say it’s going to be a polar shift, others say aliens are gonna come down, and other just simply say it’s the end of the world… What’s your view on this?

I think we’re gonna have a presidential election, my boys will turn 6 years old, I’ll hit the doomed age of 30, my car and truck will be paid off, and we’ll all continue existance as usual.
Since I got thumbs down, I guess none of that stuff will happen and I just made it all up.

I don’t feel like worrying about it, myself. When it first was talked about being the end of the world, I was a little freaked out. Now I realize that even if it was the end of the world, my rent is still due. So now I’ve convinced myself that it will be just the best light show in the sky that we’ll ever see, and not worry about it.

People think that since the Mayan calendar is ending, that the end of the world is coming in 2012. I think this is ridiculous. It’s the year 2000 all over again. A polar shift has happened many times in the earths history and takes millions of years, so you can cross that one off your list.

All the microwave’s on the planet will be turned on at once causing the polar ice caps to melt, turning the world into a water world just like the movie Water World and everyone who can’t swim will drown.

In December 2012 Nibiru will finally reach the neigbourhood of Earth and the Annunaki will invade again, hoping to enslave humans again to mine gold for them. Imagine their disappointment when planet X also appears out of nowhere and causes a pole shift, thereby making a really big mess of Earth and maybe Nibiru too. Simultaneously, all the planets in our solar system will align as the Earth enters the photon belt around the Seven Sisters, creating a spiritual paradigm shift among humans, passes through the galactic central plane and the Earth, Sun and the galactic centre all line up. This will of course send the Earth spiralling into the Sun, or maybe away from it, just as a solar storm rages up and causes another pole shift on Earth. Meanwhile, the Earth is being pounded by large asteroids, running out of oil and all the bees will drop dead.
In other words it is all nonsense.

Apparently some guy who lived hundreds of years ago who predicted the rise of an individual who almost takes over the world (hitler) and terrorist attacks predicts the world will end in a world civil war (nuclear war) in 2012 or 2015 or wenever.
One thing is for certain, London 2012 Olympics!!!!

None of the above.
1. There will be an American presidential election in 2012.
2. The Summer Olympics will be in London in 2012.
3. The Planet Venus will transit the Sun in 2012. (The only effect of this will be that a small dot will be visible on the sun in telescopes that are adapted to look at the sun.)
4. There will be natural disasters, war, famine, plague, etc… but no more than in any other year.
That is all. Everything else is bull.
Nostradamus didn’t predict anything for 2012.
Some people think the Mayans did, but they are wrong. The Mayan Calendar is just a very long calendar. It does NOT predict the end of the world. It just so happens that the Mayan version of “December 31, 1999″ falls on what we would call “December 21, 2012.” The Mayan calendar contains events that happen AFTER 2012, even after 4000 AD, so clearly the world will not “end” at this point.
(You’ll remember that a lot of fools also thought the world was going to end in 12-31-1999, but it didn’t. Same deal.)
All the other predictions:
“pole shifts” (which take thousands of years to even start)
“galactic plane crossing” (a lie, we’re far above the galactic plane and moving away from it
“galactic alignment” (We don’t even know exactly where the galaxy’s center is – it’s obscured by gas and dust and other stars – so we sure as hell can’t predict an alignment with it with any accuracy)
“killer planet Nibiru’ (physically impossible)
and everything else, are completely and totally made-up.
There are NO scientists who believe in this 2012 nonsense. If you see someone claiming “scientists” said so, ask for names and degrees, because they either don’t exist, or got their “degree” from some mail-in fake “university of pulp paper.”
Here’s a real accurate 2012 Prediction: This answer will be thumbs-downed by obessed, 2012 trolls.

Winter solstice 2012 is just the revealing of the ‘antichrist’ or the ‘man of perdition’ at the mid-point of what Christians call the 7 year Tribulation (just subtract 1260 days to get the start and add 1260 days to get the end). Satanists and many pagan cultures from every corner of the world all throughout history have celebrated this like the Sumerians, Babylonians, Cherokee, Hopi, Chinese I-Ching (confirmed by Terence McKenna), Mayans (Pacal Votan; Chilam Balam of Tizimin, Mani, Chumayel; Jaguar Prophet), Egyptians, Celts, etc. This evil event is called “the abomination that causes desolation” that will be set up in the Jewish Temple’s Holy of Holies when the antichrist is imbued with the spirit of satan himself. When will Jesus come? Only God Himself knows exactly, but very soon in “the twinkling of an eye” and like “a thief in the night”. If you believe or not, that is up to you; either way it still comes.

Everybody knows that the Mayan Calendar ends on Winter Solstice 2012, i.e., December 21. Some know that the Mayan Calendar represents a 5,125 year cycle. So, when did the Mayan Calendar begin? Subtract 5,125 years from December 21, 2012 and you have August 11, 3114 BC. That’s only 40 years after the death of Adam (yep! THAT Adam!) and the same year Stonehenge was first built in ancient Britain. Stonehenge was first built to be an astronomical observatory; in its first iteration Stonehenge consisted of 56 tall wooden posts in a circle 360′ in diameter, backed up by a earthen berm scraped out with primitive tools. There was one opening in the circle – facing toward the East, it admitted sunlight directly in on only one day a year – Summer solstice June 21. Exactly six months before Winter solstice. Remember that Stonehenge was first built in August 11, 2114 BC – that’s a couple of months after the Summer Solstice, and nine months after the latest Winter solstice. Could it be that something happened on December 21, 3113 BC that caused a lot of destruction, and the locals in Britain decided to warn their children and others later to watch for something at that time? If it was a world-wide catastrophe the ancestors of the Mayans would do the same, as well as the Egyptians, Babylonians, Sumerians, Assyrians and others. And that is exactly what they did – all the ancient civilizations expended major treasure in building observatories and having smart guys spending all night watching the Heavens. That’s why the “Three Wisemen” came to Bethlehem when Christ was born – “We have seen His star in the East” they said. Could it be that something like Halley’s comet – which returns like clockwork every 75 years – returns every 5,125 years?
