I have watched this on the History Channel and I couldn’t stop thinking of it. I don’t want to believe it but at the same time, I want to believe it. I couldn’t sleep properly after watching the History Channel. Scientists said that the Mayan calendar was accurate. Do anyone of you believe that the world will end on 2012?

So conspiracy theorists like to believe that 2012 is the end of the world, others believe in the polar shift theory, others feel that the galactic alignment will happen.
So I feel that end of the world is slightly illogical, galactic alignment is possible however highly improbable. I’ll tell you however, I have a theory theory I just thought of:
Maybe (if and only if) a polar shift happens, then all computer hard drives will experience a magnetic “flip” and lose all of their data (mirroring it exactly)
what do you think?? and what’s your theories??

There are various conspiracies and theories put around, not only by the historians, but by scientists, philosophers, astronomers including those in NASA that the Earth will experience polar shift in December 21, 2012. I did a research on that and to my surprise I found that pole shift had happened before somewhere around 9732 B.C. which was found in Mayan hieroglyphics.
Late I researched on what do the holy books (Gospel, Torah and the Quran) and found that Judaism, Islam and Christianity believed in Pole Shift.
Can anyone elaborate me on the same?
