Their calender believed time was cyclical, and we are coming to the end of one cycle and the beginning of another, namely the end of this civilization, and the rise of another, and that this cataclysm will occur in 2012.

If this is true, have these events already been set in motion, or is there still a chance at preventing the coming dark times?

Mayan Calender? can anyone tell me how they translated it and what it says?

how could it stay accurate, unless they knew about the declining orbits of planetary objects and other very complex sciences?
