I’ching fractal time wave theory: breakthrough in human evolution, or just 2 dudes eating too much DMT?

Question:
in 197, terrence and dennis mckenna (botanists) went to the amazon and took some DMT (a powerful halucinogen)- according to terrence, while under the influence of DMT, he was contacted by Logos (an informative voice, supposedly universal to gnostic experiences) instructed him to investigate the I’ching (ancient chinese sacred philosophical text).
Upon further study of the I’ching, the Mckenna brothers found out that if you apply a Mandelbrot fractal equation to the I’ching, it produces a “timewave” of the human evolutionary process, that reaches it’s apex on dec 22, 2012 (just like the mayan calendar)
