We are constantly hearing that the Mayan calendar ends in the year 2012. But did the Mayans actually think the world would end, or that something huge would happen in 2012?

i was watching a history channel documentary and basically all of these things predict 2012 will pretty much be radical,,,, i also saw that a polar shift, i it happend in years it would still have devestating effects, now imagine if this pole shift would take days?
yes u have to understand these 3 sources predicted the same exact date….

The Mayans calendar ends..and people say that the galactic alignment is going to cause chaos. I don’t know what to believe. Are people just stirring up rubbish? Tell me what you honestly think. I haven’t found anything from a credible source about the galaxy thing…wouldn’t someone be telling us if it were true?

The next 11-year sunspot cycle will be late but strong according to a new computer prediction

The Sun is currently near its minimum activity, at the tail end of a solar cycle, numbered 23. “Onset of the next cycle will be delayed by six to 12 months, to late 2007 or early 2008,” Dikpati says. She expects the next peak to hit in 2012.
