Will there really be a polar shift on 2012 because of Planet X or Nibiru entering our solar system?

Question:
The contemporary scientific community and even Einstein has predicted that on Dec 24 2012 there will be a polar shift here on earth because of Planet X or Nibiru disrupting our solar system. Basically they are saying that the north pole and south pole will switch in a matter of seconds , causing Earth to spin the other way around and therefore cause chaos here on Earth , they estimate that every calamity from A-Z will happen , and that a 3rd of the world will be wiped out. Is this myth ? Or is this really real ? How come NASA or any other space agency isn’t alerting us about this , shouldnt we start preparing for this ?

i just watched the movie 2012 last night, which is a awsome movie indeed, and they kept talking about polar shifts which will make the north pole the south pole and reverse. And they also spoke of a solar storm which caused most of the destruction on earth. What are they talking about exacly. And can it really happen?
Is there any scientific evidence regarding 2012 and the solar alignment theory?

I mean wouldn’t NASA be all over this because im sure we have some kind of expert astronomers out there that would be able to predict a massive galactic alignment in 700 days right?
87 Day Solar Cycle

The theory is based on Patrick Geryl decoding Mayan and Egyptian tablets, deriving an 87 day small cycle of sun spots that measure up to a massive eruption in 2012. The last major anomalous ejection was July 31st into August 1st of 2010, in which a double filament “solar-tsunami” erupted. This makes today, Oct 26 – Wednesday, Oct 28th to be the next “big one.” The theory is not confirmed in my own mind unless something big happens in the next 72 hours.
