Question:
Now, before I begin, let it be known that I fully understand that, by no means, will the world end in 2012, or on any other date that these doomsayers seem to always come up with. While I do suspect that there might be an event that will change things for many people, it will not be the end. January 1, 2013 will come and I will wake up to a peaceful snow day from a good night’s sleep. =) Anyways, here goes my family and I’s plan to survive whatever may come in 2012, opinions needed.

We have bought 40 acres in the San Luis Valley, the place my dad calls ‘the safest place on Earth.’ We plan to move down there within in the next year or two and become completely independent. We will produce our own bio-fuel, power our home off our own energy, raise our own livestock, grow our own fruits and vegetables, and build a safe place for our self. We’ll bring everyone that’s important in our life to our safe haven. We will build our house in to a hill, part way underground for the most protection. We’ll have everything we’ll need for any kind of emergency on hand (winter kit, first aid kit, everything else..) and a large stockpile of non-perishable food that has no need for refrigeration and a large supply of water. And to some of you, this may sound impossible to accomplish in 3 years, but you don’t know how far we’ve gotten already Opinions? Suggestions? Ideas? Anything? =]

Do the doomsayers:
Just shut the hell up, okay? I’m sick of your crap. We’re already in the polar shift, it started in 2007. 2012 is when it finishes. The entire world is already at war for the most part. If anything, we should be worrying about getting through all these environmental problems and getting our country and our world out of this economic crisis. Scientists laugh at the thought of the world ending in 2012, much less that generations from now. If the world doesn’t get it’s head out of it’s arse, than by the year 2012 we will have done more harm to our population than the winter solstice of 2012 has any chance of doing. So get your head out of your arse and quit worrying about something that might not even happen, and prevent it from happening! I’m done ranting, haha! Ty fore listening :3
You people need your eyes tested. I clearly said that you all have no idea how far we’ve gotten so far. In the 15 years my parents have been together, they’ve completed just about 75% of the plan. All that’s left, really, is to move down in to the valley and start the garden, finish a few things on the house, and get everybody else down there. Honestly, a 3rd grader could have caught that.
Ohy, and btw, don’t judge if you don’t know what it’s like in our shoes. We won’t run out of resources. And death isn’t going to ‘reach us’ and we’re not going to ‘run from it’ if it did, we’ll take what we get, but who wouldn’t choose life over death when the world has a chance to turn itself around in 2012?
