Is the world gonna end in 2012 (your opinon and thoughts)?

Question:
Nostradums as most of you know, predeicted (or even said so) that the world will in end in the year 2012 because of th emyans calender ending in 21st 2012 december. im kinda frightened of that so tell me what you think?
