Year 2012: End of the World

Like take them to court or something because they are trying to frighten innocent people. I was terrified of the world ending in 2012 for well over a year until I found out about every other time they said the world will end but it didnt. Are the governments around the world going to punish those people or just let them carry on?

are they propagating that world would end in 2012 because of insecurity complex, they had?
did any psychologists issue any statement in print media and in electronic media not to believe those rumors?

“Nostradamus 2012″ was on the History channel. I did not watch the whole program, but some people believe Nostradamus’s drawings predict future events. His drawings could be interpreted to mean anything. Some people think he predicted future events, but many internet websites claim that some people are just trying to profit. Personally, I think some people want to profit and there are people out there who want to think the world will end.

Did Nostradamus predict future events or are some people trying to profit?
