What did Nostradamus predict for 2012?

I’ve been kinda worried about this so yeah… And I looked up some questions but none of them clear up of what he actually predicted so I’m a little confused haha…

Nostradamus, a prophet who lived in the 16th century is given a lot of attention these days. Did he predict the end of the world? What did he predict for 2012? Lets find out what Nostradamus predicted.
Before we can answer whether he predicted the end of the world in 2012 or not, we must realize that there are many interpretations of his work. Nostradamus didn’t exactly write in a clear manner. His prophecies can be hard to interpret, and it requires some study to understand what he is actually saying.
When it comes to 2012, there are no mentions of this year in any of his works, but there are interpretations that suggest that Nostradamus predicted major wars and disasters around this time. Nostradamus has said himself that all of his prophecies will be valid until the year 3797, which pretty much destroys any ideas that he predicted that the world will end in 2012.
The reason why people say Nostradamus predicted the end in 2012 has something to do with the Mayan calendar. The Mayan calendar ends on December 21. 2012, and so many doomsday believers conveniently use this very date so everything would match and therefore seem more valid.
What is interesting is that in the lost book of Nostradamus, he predicts catastrophic events for the time we live in. Some say his predictions suggest a third world war. He also writes that a third Antichrist will appear soon. According to experts, his previous Antichrists were Napoleon and Hitler.

Firstly, nobody can predict the future because it violates the rules of cause and effect in the same way that time travel does. All people can do is guess. If people can see into the future, why aren’t bookmakers quickly driven out of business? Why don’t we see the headline ‘Psychic wins lottery’ every weekend?
Predictions by Nostradamus work like this. His followers wait for some event to occur, then trawl through his obscure scribblings to find something vaguely resembling the event, then claim he predicted it. If they can’t find any suitable prediction, they just invent one. Claims that he was accurate are bogus. Like all so-called ‘prophets’ he was just a guesser, and not a particularly good one. Oh, and he never said anything about 2012.
Nostradamas was vague.
Some reputable scientists do believe the world might be destroyed by 2012, but not because of a phantom planet or the Mayan calendar. They think it might happen as a result of reckless risks taken by CERN scientists at the Hadron Collider.
Otto E. Rössler, a professor of physical chemistry in Tübingen believes they’ll create a black hole that might destroy the earth in 50 months, which makes it a 2012 event.
Other similarly respected scientists believe it mightn’t destroy the planet, but be restricted to a mere Chernobyl-like nuclear event.
No way of knowing what will happen when scientists take risks on behalf of humanity without seeking consensus among themselves. You’ve got to admit there’d be a poetic irony almost too sweet to resist if arrogant scientists created a 2012 they’d spent several years laughing about. Especially since it wouldn’t have happened if they hadn’t disregarded risks and trusted the equations of their hero icons while spitting on the cautions to go slowly by their more prudent peers.
Those sensible, responsible scientists who are concerned CERN will result in disaster have filed a lawsuit in US Federal Court in a probably futile attempt to stop it until there’s unanimity of opinion and consensus concerning the risks to be taken.
Unfortunatly the decisions to proceed won’t be made by average citizens struggling for a living with their 2.5 children. The decisions will be made by people you couldn’t trust to give you accurate street directions because they have nothing but scorn and contempt for average citizens and their concerns.
Far more dangerous to humanity than the ancient Mayans and astrologers they despise. Those out of control scientists created nuclear weapons, DDT, Chernobyl and countless other disasters and learned nothing from the experience except how to do it bigger, more arrogantly,and with less caution.

ive been reading ur prodictions on nostradamus i can tell u now he doesnt say the world will end in 2012, it will end how ever b take another thousand or 2 ,in 2012 it. will b the slow strat of armagedin b4 the age of enlightenment that willl lasst 4 2 and 40 years the goverments of the world will enslave there own people which has all ready begun b4 the age of enlightenment so any 1 woried that were going 2 die in 2012 dont b we will be past over b4 the world ends
