What do you think about the whole 2012 theory?

Ive heard about Y2 and the 2005 scenario but do you believe the earth will come to an end? In the back of my mind im scared because i wont even graduate by then sometimes i say no but all the tv shows about “Doomsday” makes me think otherwise

Being unable to swear on such a forum, i’ll merely say i believe it to be incorrect.
It doesn’t state a ‘doomsday’, it just happens to be the year which holds the date in which the Mayan Calendar ends.

Ain’t going to happen. Best we can hope for is that all the virgins in the world will fall for this and screw the first people they meet.

We all want to say its not gonna happen and we don’t believe that….
But I think it might not the way the movies are but it looks like its happening slowly like look at the
poor polar bears there ice is melting and they’re dieing. All the floods everywhere. The crazy weather were getting. earthquakes and tornado’s happening where they never do, its crazzzy.

I wouldn’t say it was a theory, as more of a prediction. Its possible. Maybe it starts as a domino affect. Its starts out as something small but eventually leads to man’s demise. Being prepared might ease your worries. Example: Food, shelter, weapon, water source and transportation. You might look stooopid in a few years but it might be worth it. LOL
I actually got out of R&S to rest from these questions. But I’m a believer in the word of God, and the 2012 theory is false.

The TV shows are billed as ‘entertainment’ although they masquerade as documentaries. They are in the business of pulling in viewers and if they can do that with old footage of floods and storms plus lots of sensationalistic nonsensical predictions, then that’s what they will broadcast, even though it has little connection with reality.
2012 is entirely made up by a bunch of new-age weirdos and woo-woos who all like to make out that they’re some sort of prophet in order to have people take notice of them. All their claims of doomsday are complete nonsense – and I do mean all.
The people you should be taking notice of are scientists and they say nothing will happen.
The date of 2012 is a real phenomenon unlike anything that has come before. It’s real, and this is already seen today as events fall in line on the nightly news. 2012 is the “end of the world”, but that isn’t the misuse of world as planet. The true meaning of the term world translated means “age of man”. It’s the end of the civilization of mankind.
Science states man as we think of our selves has been around for 125 thousand years, but we have only been able to gather a 8-10 thousand year written record. Before this across the globe and through civilizations all that remains is ancient mythologies of even older worlds and destructive epics. We’re in a cycle and it is that time again.
