No. The human race should go down on our own. This is our problem, if we can’t fix it, too bad! However I doubt the world will end, it will just change and it will be inhospitable for humans and all other life. No aliens will show up, we will die in dissapointment because it has been promised to us that they will ‘save us’.

” Precious” you are looking in the wrong areas. God tells us in his word “no man knoweth the day nor the hour when the Lord returns”.We are to observe the signs which He talks about in His word. God being the creator of heaven and earth is in control, not Nostradamus or Mayans. He wants you to put your trust in Him and you will not have to worry what might be coming down the pipe. Cheers!

well, nobody can prove that the end of the world is really coming. it has never been proven that aliens are true, so how can they help if they don’t really exist? though they might.
the end of the world might be another prediction, then again if it is true then we just have to wait and see… and hope

The reason that the findings of Nostradamus (died in 1566) and the Mayan Scholars (10th century) match, is that they were both invented in this century.
Both “predictions” were invented by the people behind the Big 2012 Hoax and integrated in the fake documentary that is shown on the Hysteric Channel.
The Big 2012 Hoax is brought to us by the same people who had invented Planet X for the end-of-the-world of May-June 2003.
The end-of-the-Mayan calendar (a separate lie) was invented in the late 1980s by someone who wanted to sell books about HIS understanding of old Mesoamerican calendars. His understanding was, how can we say this politely… flawed.
“New Age” type of forecasters (e.g., astrologers) used this event (the end of the calendar) and joined it with the alignment of the solstice with the Galactic equator (which, by the way, is NOT in 2012) and decided to predict that it meant a New Age for the human race. They just love to predict New Ages all the time (lately, they have matched it with the Age of Aquarius, which has nothing to do with Mayan mythology).
The people behind the Big 2012 Hoax added the concept of
end-of-Mayan-calendar = end-of-the-world.
But since the Mayan calendar does not end… I guess the whole thing just flops.

The Mayan scholars (the real ones that existed a thousand years ago) left writings where they describe (and date) events they thought would take place on Earth — involving humans — well after the year we call 4000.

By the way, the plot of the movie “2012″ is actually the story of the 2003 end-of-the-world (Planet X passes too close to Earth, causes a tsunami killing 90% of us, the rest being saved by alien spacecraft). The movie makers added the fake Mayan prophesy so they could justify the title.
Calling the movie “2003″ would not have been a good seller.

Findings? Mayan scholars? Nostradamus? Help from aliens?! That’s like adding rotten tomatoes plus rotten eggs plus rotten cabbage plus the worst fart! Have you gone to school? All these are crap, proven untrue and debunked a long time ago. They don’t even add up to anything. There is nothing scientific about it. Please read scientific sites instead like this one:

Winter solstice- December 21, 2012 – is just the revealing of the ‘antichrist’ or the ‘man of perdition’ at the mid-point of what Christians call the 7 year Tribulation (just subtract 1260 days to get the start and add 1260 days to get the end). Exact bibliography please for these assertions?
Which book of Nostradamus? What edition?
Which quatrain refers specifically to the end of the world in 2012?
Who translated it from Old French?
What evidence is there that he was not being ambiguous?
What evidence is there that he meant something else? What evidence is there that he didn’t mean something else?
In which Mayan city was this inscription found?
On what building? What side of the building and on what level?
Or is it on a piece of pottery? If so, where is this piece of pottery?
Or is it in a surviving codex? If so, which codex and which page?
Who translated it? Does it actually say the end of the world? Does it mention the end of the world and the end of the current cycle of the long count in the same sentence?
Is the translation agreed with by others who can read the writing? Is there evidence that they agree? Where is this evidence of agreement?
Is there any possibility of the translation being ambiguous, or is there any possibility that the Mayan author was being ambiguous?
The doomsayers can never answer these questions and that is why scientists and other scholars laugh at them.

That is ridiculous!
Everyone knows that The Big Book of the Future says that the end of the world will be next tuesday!
The Prophet Marjenne wrote, back in 1088, YEARS before Nostromodamus that “Watch out for the Ides of Tuesday, and don’t forget heavy starch on my shirt’s collars” in his “Predictiones et Laundrie”. Nostromodamus NEVER wrote such a clear warning! And his collars …”c’est miserables!”
Forget the Mayans’ silly stone calendar, the Aukmen of the Galapagos Islands created a calendar that was accurate to the millisecond, using only tortoise shells and bat guano. The so-called “heads” on Easter Island, the Moai, actually line up in a great big —-> pointing at a section of the Peruvian Nazca Lines, which when read upside down say “Yes, Next Tuesday”.
Still, somehow, there are UNBELIEVERS!
Some people have even accused me of making it all up!
For shame! As if I would make up anything as important as this! You can find ALL of this on Youtube! So, it’s GOTTA be true, right?
MORE IMPORTANTLY, you will find NONE of this on NASA’s webpage! That is proof, because they don’t WANT YOU TO KNOW!

Matched findings? 2012 is a 100% certified junk science hoax. About the only thing the Mayan calendar predicted was WHEN the high priest needed to round up a few people and cut their heads off to appease the SUN god.
Nostradamus wrote complete nonsense that could be made to mean just about anything.
Rather than reading these web sites written by people who failed all their science classes; try this one by NASA. They debunk the entire 2012 hoax.

I would call it silly if so many people were not getting scared about it.
One of several Mayan calendars is the Long Count calendar, which is reset to day 0 every 1,872,000 days or 7057.5 years. The next reset date, by some calculations, is December 21, 2012. This is not a prediction of the end of the world.
These predictions are scare tactics, conspiracy theories, and chances to make money from books and movies.
Ever since the Y2K and 6/6/6 (June 6, 2006) End of the World scenarios did not pan out, the scare mongers, conspiracy theorists, book sellers, and television executives have been touting the 2012 End of the World scenario. When 2012 does not happen either, I am sure they will think of something else.

Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that we were not to know when the end of the world would come but that we were always to be ready.
The early Christian Church thought that Jesus was going to return at any moment. Only after a couple of centuries did the Church realize that it may be 2,000 or 4,000 or 8,000 years before Jesus returns.
The Catholic Church wisely follows Jesus’ advice and teaches that each of us should live as if we will meet our maker in the next ten minutes and that we need to work to make the world a better place for our 100 X great-grandchildren.
Do not worry about the end of the world. Trust God to make sure everything happens to plan. Just be ready to meet God at any time.
