nostradamus did not predict it, it was the mayan calender that stopped then.

Well first of all the prediction of the world ending in 2012 does not come from Nostradamus, it is rooted from the fact that the Aztec calendar ends in 2012, thats it, even if the world is ending in 2012 it may very well be just a coincidence. There are just no valid grounds at all for making the prediction.
Also, the way people interpret Nostradamus’ quatrains is quite simply fallacious. The quatrains are liberally translated them from archaic French, stripped of their historical content and then most of the time, they do this after an even has happened. Only very uneducated ignorant people would fall for these predictions, which are not even predictions if they come out with some quatrain “predicting” the event, after the fact.
I dun think it will happen.
everyone’s gonna be freaking out, hiding in bomb shelters, buying bottles of water. december 21, 2012 will come along and nothing will happen. we cannot predict the end of the world. that’s ludicrous!
